Lili’s choreography drives a theme, message and/or concept home by creating emotionally relatable images and movements that anyone can latch onto, not just those well versed in dance and theatre. She longs to make theatre and dance more relatable and accessible to all, and hopes her movement can one day provide a bridge to connect that gap. She loves choreographing for film and theatre alike.

“Number One Fan”

This piece was made for Ham for Progress (Hamilton’s social justice initiative) during Pride month 2021. After a very isolating and difficult year, it felt important to create an uplifting reminder to recognize the beauty and strength within ourselves with the help of our communities.

“Song for Our Daughter”

This was made for my mother on Mother’s Day. It is both about the strength that is inherited, taught, and learned throughout generations of women and also about how we move through life as women.
